NOTICE OF DISBARMENT (By Consent)

Case Nos. 16-83-AI; 16-144-JC Notice Issued: July 11, 2017 Stuart J. Dunnings, III, P 31089, lansing, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Ingham County Hearing Panel #7.

Disbarment, Effective August 2,20161 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. The stipulation contains respondent's admission that he was convicted, by guilty plea, in People of the State of Michigan v Stuart J. Dunnings, 11/, 30th Circuit Court Case No. 16-000664-FH-C30, of misconduct in office, a felony, in violation of MCl 750.505-C; and of engaging the services of a prostitute, a misdemeanor, in violation of MCl 750.449A. In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on August 2, 2016, the date of his felony conviction.

Based on respondent's convictions, admissions, and the stipulation of the parties, it was established that respondent engaged in conduct that violated the criminal laws of the State of Michigan, in violation of MCR 9.104(5).

In accordance with the stipulation ofthe parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be disbarred from the practice of law in Michigan. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,037.53.
