NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITIONS Case No. 15-132-GA Notice Issued: April 27, 2016
Cynthia Marie-Martinovich Lardner, P 37000, Troy, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #71. .
1. Suspension -- 180 Days 2. Effective April 27, 2016 Respondent did not appear at the hearing and was found to be in default for her failure to file an answer to the formal complaint. Based on respondent's default, the hearing panel found that
respondent engaged in undignified or discourteous conduct toward the tribunal, in violation of MRPC 3.5(d); failed to treat others in the legal process with courtesy and respect, in violation of MRPC 6.5(a); engaged in conduct that is a violation of the criminal law, where such conduct reflects adversely on the lawyer's fitness to practice law, in violation of MRPC 8.4(b); and, engaged in conduct that violates the criminal law of a state, in violation of MCR 9.105(5). The panel also found that respondent violated MRPC 8.4(a) and (c) and MCR 9.104(1)-(4).
The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law be suspended for 180 days and that she be subject to conditions relevant to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $2,047.88.
