Respondent's plea of guilty to corruptly influencing an official proceeding, in violation of 18 USC 1512(c), a felony, was accepted by the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, Southern Division, on October 20, 2015. In accordance with MCR 9.120(8)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on the date of his felony conviction.
This matter has been assigned to a hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.
