NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent)

Case Nos. 15-92-AI; 15-127-JC Notice Issued: March 4, 2016 Paige L. Timmer, P 77842, Grand Rapids, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Kent County Hearing Panel #5.

1. Suspension - 179 Days 2. Effective September 28, 2015. 1 Respondent pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury, a felony, in the Kalamazoo County Circuit Court. In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on August 7, 2015, the date of her conviction.

On January 25, 2016, the parties filed a stipulation for consent order of disCipline which contained respondent's admission that she was convicted of operating while intoxicated causing serious injury, a felony, in violation of MCl750.625(5). Based on respondent's conviction and her admission in the stipulation, the panel found that respondent's conduct violated a criminal law of a state or of the United States, in violation of MCR 9.104(5).

Based upon the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 179 days, retroactive to September 28, 2015, as stipulated by the parties. Additionally, the panel ordered that respondent shall be subject to conditions relevant to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $870.82.
