NOTICE OF SUSPENSION Case No. 14-91-GA Notice Issued: February 13,, 2015

1. Suspension - One Year 2.. Effective February 3, 20151 Respondent failed to appear at the hearing and the panell issued an order, pursuant to MCR 9.115(H)(2), suspending respondent from the practice of law based on his claim of physical incapacity as the reason for his failure to personally appear. Additionally, respondent was found to be in defauilt for his failure to file an answeri to the formal complaint.
Based on his default, the panel found that, in one matter, respondent failed to answer a request for investigation, and, in a second matter, failed to timely file an answer a request for investigation, in violation of MCR 9.113(8)(2). The panel also found that respondent failed to respond to a llawfull demand for iinformatiion from a diisciiplliinary authoriity, iin viiollatiion of MRPC 8.1 (a)(2); and engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice, in violation of MRPC 8.4(c).
The heariing panell ordered tthatt respondentt''s lliicense tto practtiice llaw iin Miichiigan be suspended for one year, commenciing February 3, 2015. Costs were assessed iin the amount of $1,805.
