Respondent was convicted by a jury of one count ofConspiracy to Commit Honest Services Mail and Wire Fraud, a felony, in violation of 18 USC 1349, in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan (Detroit). In accordance with MCR 9.120(8)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on December 8,2014, the date the jury returned its verdict.
This matter has been assigned to a hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.
