Effective October 21,2014 Respondent appeared at the hearing and, based on the certiified copy of a juudg~meenntt of conviction, the panel found that respondent was convicted, by guiillty pllea, of viiollating MCl 750.539(J)(2)(b), a one-year misdemeanor, in the Wayne County Circuit Court. Respondent''s conduct was found to have violated a criminal llaw of a state or of the Uniited States, contrary tto MCeR 9.104(5).
The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law iin Miichiigan be suspended ffor 30 days and that he be subject to conditions relevant to the establliished misconduct upon hiis acttiive reinstatement to the practice of law. The Grievance Administrator fiiled a petiition ffor reviiew, seekiing an increase in discipline. Respondent did not file a motion for stay of disciplliine..
