John Charles Stewart, P 43675, Lambertville, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #25. 1. Suspension - 179 Days 2. Effective October 24, 2013 On April 18, 2013, the Grievance Administrator filed a certified copy of the March 12, 2013 Order of the Ohio Supreme Court showing that respondent had been suspended from the practice of law in Ohio for two years with the second year stayed pending the completion of certain conditions.
On April 19, 2013, respondent was ordered to show cause why he should not be subject to a reciprocal order of discipline in Michigan. Respondent appeared at the show cause hearing and, based on the evidence and testimony presented, the hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 179 days, subject to conditions related to the
order of suspension with conditions imposed in Ohio. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,808.11.
