NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

Kevin J. Kozma, P 31989, White Cloud, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Kent County Hearing Panel #4.
1. Reprimand 2. Effective August 24, 2013 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Based on the stipulation, the hearing panel found that respondent failed to timely make payment of the judgments entered against him, in violation of MRPC 3.4(c). In accordance with the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded.
The complainant in the underlying grievance filed a petition for review before the Attorney Discipline Board and, upon review, the Board issued an order affirming the hearing panel's order
of reprimand. The complainant then filed a motion for reconsideration which was denied by the Attorney Discipline Board on April 23, 2014. Total costs were assessed in the amount of $852.42.
