1. Disbarred 2. Effective March 27, 20131 Respondent was convicted of Welfare Fraud and Failure to Report, both felonies. In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was suspended effective August 9,2012, the date of his felony convictions.

A discipline proceeding was instituted by the Grievance Administrator in accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(3) and respondent appeared at the hearing via telephone. Based on the evidence of respondent's felony convictions, the panel found that he had engaged in conduct that violated

a criminal law of the State of Michigan, in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(5).

The panel ordered that respondent be disbarred from the practice of law in Michigan and that he be subject to a condition relevant to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $2,260.93.
