NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

Case No. 13-15-GA Notice Issued: March 13, 2013 Scott D. Feringa, P 28977, Southfield, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #57.

1. Reprimand 2. Effective March 9, 2013 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator submitted a stipulation for consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The stipulation was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and was accepted by the hearing panel. The stipulation contains respondent's plea of no contest to the allegations that, while appearing pro hac vice in the U.S.

District Court for the District of New Jersey, he, by his acts or omissions, violated MCR 9.104(4) by engaging in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice, as proscribed by New Jersey Rules of Professional Conduct 8.4(d), which is identical to Michigan Rule of Professional Conduct 8.4(c).

Based on the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and pay costs in the amount of $763.02.
