Suspension - 30 days Effective December 1, 2012
Respondent was convicted of four misdemeanor counts of criminal contempt, contrary to MCLA 600.1701 (c). On September 28, 2012, the parties filed a Stipulation for Consent Order of Discipline, pursuant to MCR 9.11S(F)(S), which contained respondent's acknowledgment of his conviction. The panel found that respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(5).
Based upon the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 30 days, commencing December 1,2012, and that he be subject to a condition relevant to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $763.09.
