NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)

Case No. 12-48-GA Notice Issued: December 5, 2012

Francis F. Yono, P 65389, West Bloomfield, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board TriĀ­ County Hearing Panel #66.

1. Suspension - 30 Days 2. Effective November 21, 2012 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The stipulation was approved by the Attorney

Grievance Commission and was accepted by the hearing panel. The stipulation contains respondent's plea of no contest to theailegations that, while representing the buyer of a convenience store business, he failed to disclose at the closing that his client had executed a security agreement three days prior to the closing which granted a lien against the assets of the business.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct, contrary to MRPC 8.4(a) and MCR 9.104(4), formerly MCR 9.104(A)(4); prejudicial to the

administration of justice, in violation of MRPC 8.4(c) and MCR 9.1 04(1), formerly MCR 9.1 04(A)(1); and exposed the legal profession or the courts to obloquy, contempt, censure, or reproach, in violation of MCR 104(2), formerly MCR 9.1 04(A)(2).

The hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 30 days, effective November 21, 2012. Costs were assessed in the amount of $944.30.
