NOTICE OF SUSPENSION Case Nos. 11-113-JC; 11-114-GA Notice Issued: February 20,2012

1. Suspension - 120 Days 2. Effective February 18, 2012 The respondent appeared at the hearing but was found to be in default for his failure to file an answer to the formal complaint. Based on respondent's default IN Case No. 11-114-GA, and

his criminal conviction established in Case No. 11-113-JC, the panel found that respondent had committed professional misconduct. Specifically, respondent was found to have been convicted of operating while intoxicated, first offense, a misdemeanor, in violation of MCl 257.6254(A) and MCR 9.1 04(A)(5). Additionally, respondent failed to report the 'Criminal conviction, in violation of

MCR 9.120(A); failed to answer a request for investigation; in violation of MCR 9.1 049(A)(7) and MCR 9.113(A) and (B); knowingly failed to respond to a lawful demand for information by a disciplinary authority; engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice, in violation of

MCR 9.104(A)(4) and MRPC 8.4(c); and engaged in conduct that is contrary to justice, ethics, honesty, or good morals, in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(3).

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 120 days and that he pay costs in the amount of $1 ,824.04.
