NOTICE OF DISBARMENT PURSUANT TO RESIGNATION UNDER MCR 9.115(M) Case No. 11-137-MZ Notice Issued: January 27, 2012 John M. Merritt, P 40291, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri­ County Hearing Panel #9.

1. Disbarment Pursuant to MCR 9.115(M) 2. Effective January 26, 2012 Respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulated petition to allow the respondent's resignation under MCR 9.115(M)1, which acknowledged that: 1) respondent was the subject of an "Order Approving Resignation from Oklahoma Bar Association Pending Disciplinary Proceedings," filed June 27,2011, in State of Oklahoma v John M Merritt, 2011 OK 67 (OK Sup Ct 2011); and 2), as a result, respondent was the subject of an investigation by the Attorney Grievance Commission.

The stipulation ofthe parties was assigned to a hearing panel which approved the stipulated petition and entered an order of disbarment pursuant to MCR 9.115(M) on January 4, 2012. Costs were not assessed in this matter.
