NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITION Case No. 11-86-GA Notice Issued: January 26, 2012

Bruce R. Redman, P 46958, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #56.

1. Suspension - 60 Days 2. Effective January 26,2012 The respondent appeared at the hearing but was found to be in default for failing to file an answer to the formal complaint. Based on respondent's default, the panel found that respondent handled three legal matters without preparation adequate in the circumstances; neglected the legal matters; failed to seek the lawful objectives of his clients; failed to act with reasonable diligence and

promptness in representing the legal matters; failed to keep his clients reasonably informed about the status of their legal matters and failed to comply with reasonable requests for information; failed to take reasonable steps to protect his clients' interests upon termination or withdrawal; failed to answer a request for investigation; and knowingly failed to respond to a lawful demand for information by a disciplinary authority.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(2)-(4) and (7); MCR 9.113(A) and (B); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(b) and (c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(a); 1.16(d); 8.1 (a)(2); and 8.4(c).

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 60 days with a condition relevant to the established misconduct. Cost were assessed in the amount of $1 ,981.28.
