Interim Suspension Effective December 27,2011
After being properly served with the formal complaint and the notice of hearing, respondent failed to personally appear at the December 20, 2011 hearing. After satisfactory proofs were entered that respondent possessed actual notice of the proceedings, the hearing panel, in accordance with MCR9.115(H)(1), determined that respondent's failure to appear warranted an interim suspension from the practice of law until further order of the panel.
On December 20, 2011, the panel issued an order of interim suspension of respondent's license, effective December 27, 2011. A further hearing before the panel will be scheduled.
