D. James Walker, Jr., P 32448, Southfield, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #74. 1. Suspension - 30 Days 2. Effective October 13, 2011 Based on respondent's misdemeanor conviction of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated; and his failure to file an answer to a request for investigation served upon him by the Grievance Administrator, the panel found that respondent had committed professional misconduct in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(1 ), (4), (5) and (7); MCR 9.113(A); and Michigan Rules of Professional
Conduct 8.1 (a)(2); and 8.4(a).
The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 30 days. Total costs were assessed in the amount of $1 ,660.51.
