1. Reprimand

2. Effective August 20, 2011 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator submitted a stipulation for consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The stipulation was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and was accepted by the hearing paneL. The stipulation contains respondent's admission that, in a divorce matter, he neglected the legal matter, failed to seek the lawful objectives of his client, and failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness, in

violation fo MCR 9.1 040(2)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1 (c); 1.2(a); 1.3; and 8.4(a).

Pursuant to the agreement of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and ordered that he be subject to conditions relevant to the admitted misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1 ,284.09.
