Based upon the admissions of the respondent in his answer and testimony, and the evidence and exhibits presented, the panel found that respondent failed to hold an unearned retainer in an IOlT A account separate from his personal account; and converted his client's retainer for his own personal purposes, in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(2)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1S(c); 1.16(d); and 8.4(a)-(c).
The panel ordered the respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be revoked and assessed costs in the amount of $1,844.20.
