1 . Disbarred 2. Effective June 15, 2011 1 Respondent did not appear at the hearing before the panel. A certified copy of the judgment of conviction was accepted as conclusive proof that respondent was convicted, by a no contest plea, for embezzlement $1,000.00 - $20,000.00, a felony, in violation of MCl 750. 1744(A). Based on respondent's conviction, the panel found that re~pondent committed professional misconduct in violation of MCR 9.104(5).
The panel ordered that respondent be disbarred from the practice law in Michigan, effective June 15, 2011, the date her license to practice law in Michigan was suspended on an interim basis in a related matter. The panel also ordered that respondent pay restitution in the amount of $18,235.80. Costs were assessed in the amount of $2,556.67.
