1. Reprimand 2. Effective April 21, 2011 The respondent filed an answer to the formal complaint and appeared at the hearing. Based on the record before the panel, and respondent's plea of no contest, the panel found that respondent committed professional misconduct by failing to keep a client reasonably informed about the status of a matter, in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.4(a).
The panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and assessed costs in the amount of $1,849.99.
