NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)

Case No. 10-87-RD Notice Issued: April 5, 2011 Dennis M. Powers, P 23686, Ann Arbor, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Washtenaw County Hearing Panel #4.

1. Suspension - 180 Days 2. Effective March 19,2011 Based upon an order of suspending respondent's license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for one year and one day for professional misconduct, entered May 26, 2010, the Attorney Discipline Board assigned this matter to a hearing panel and ordered respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered in accordance with

MCR 9.104.

The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline containing respondent's agreement that he was afforded due process of law in the

original proceeding and that imposition of identical discipline in Michigan would not be clearly inappropriate.

The parties agreed that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan should be suspended for 180 days, effective March 19,2011. Costs were assessed in the amount of $755.71.
