NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)

Thomas O. Mix, Jr., P 62659, Flint, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Ingham County Hearing Panel #6.
1. Suspension - 179 Days 2. Effective May 11,2011 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator submitted a stipulation for consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The stipulation was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and was accepted by the hearing panel. The stipulation contains respondent's admission that he was convicted of embezzlement less than $200.00, a misdemeanor,
contrary to MCl 750.1742.
Based on respondent's conviction and admission, the hearing panel found that respondent committed professional misconduct in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(5).
Pursuant to the agreement of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 179 days. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,126.59.
