1. Suspension - 2 % Years 2. Effective March 9, 2011 1 The hearing panel found that respondent was convicted of Larceny by Conversion $1,000-$20,000, a felony, under MCL 750.362. Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(5).
The panel ordered respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for two and half years, retroactive to March 9, 2011, the date of respondent's conviction. On November 21, 2011, the Grievance Administrator filed a petition for review, seeking an increase in discipline, and the matter will be scheduled for a review hearing before the Attorney Discipline Board.
