David D. Black, P 43367, Chesterfield, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #107.
1. Suspension - 120 Days 2. Effective April 15, 2011 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator submitted a stipulation for consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The stipulation was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and was accepted by the hearing panel. The stipulation contains respondent's admission that he was convicted of criminal contempt of court, in the St. Clair County Circuit Court, in violation of MCl 600.1701, et. seq. Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(5).
Pursuant to the agreement of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 120 days, effective April 15, 2011. Costs were assessed in the amount of $762.14.
