NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent) Case No. 10-79-GA Notice Issued: February 23, 2011

1. Suspension - 179 Days 2. Effective February 26, 2011 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator submitted a stipulation for consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The stipulation was approved by the Attorney

Grievance Commission and was accepted by the hearing panel. The stipulation contains respondent's admission that he neglected the interests of his clients; failed to seek the lawful objectives of his clients; failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness in representing his

clients; failed to adequately communicate with his clients regarding the status of their matters; failed to move to withdraw from a matter; and failed to make reasonable efforts to expedite litigation consistent with the interests of the clients and a tribunal.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(1 )-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a);1.3; 1.4(a); 1.16(b)(4); 3.2; and 8.4(a)-(c).

Pursuant to the agreement of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 179 days, effective February 26, 2011. The panel also ordered that respondent be subject to conditions relevant to the admitted misconduct.

Costs were assessed in the amount of $756.66.
