Respondent did not appear at the hearing and was found to be in default for failing to file an answer to the formal complaint. Based on respondent's default, the panel found that respondent, while suspended from the practice of law in Michigan, engaged in the unauthorized practice of law; failed to notify active clients, tribunals and all parties involved in pending litigation that her license was suspended; failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit a client to make informed decisions; failed to answer a request for investigation served upon her by the Grievance Administrator; failed to file proof of compliance with MCR 9.119; and failed to respond to a lawful demand for information from a disciplinary authority.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(1 )-(4) and (7); MCR 9.119(A)-(C); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.4(b); 5.5(a); 8.1 (a)(2); and 8.4(a)-(c).

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be revoked and assessed costs in the amount of $1,803.07.
