AMENDED NOTICE OF AUTOMATIC INTERIM SUSPENSION 1 Case No. 22-68-AI Notice Issued: September 28, 2022 Andrew J. Paluda, P 42890, Royal Oak, Michigan Effective June 10, 2022 On June 10, 2022, respondent pleaded no contest to Operating While Intoxicated, Third Offense, in violation of MCL 257.6256(D), a felony, and Possession of a Narcotic, Less Than 25 Grams, in violation of MCL 333.74032A5, in the matter titled People v Andrew J. Paluda, Oakland County Circuit Court Case No. 21-278749-FH. Respondent’s plea was accepted by the court the same day. In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent’s license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on the date of his felony conviction.

Upon the filing of a certified judgment of conviction, this matter will be assigned to a hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.

1 The Board’s September 19, 2022, notice indicated that respondent was convicted of Possession of a Narcotic, Greater Than 25 Grams, but respondent was actually convicted of Possession of a Narcotic, Less Than 25 Grams, and this amended notice serves to correct that error.

You are being directed to the most recent version of the statute which may not be the version considered at the time of the judgment.
