NOTICE OF TRANSFER TO INACTIVE STATUS PURSUANT TO MCR 9.121(B) (By Consent)

Case No. 20-18-PI Notice Issued: March 17, 2021 Steven L. Wolfram, P 46033, Stevensville, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board’s Berrien County Hearing Panel #1.

Transfer to Inactive Status, Effective March 12, 2021. The Grievance Administrator filed a Complaint Seeking to Transfer Respondent to Inactive Status Pursuant to MCR 9.121(B) alleging that respondent is incapacitated and unable to practice law. Thereafter, respondent was appointed counsel to represent him in the proceedings. The Grievance Administrator and respondent’s counsel filed a Consent to Transfer Respondent to Inactive Status Pursuant to MCR 9.121(B) on February 26, 2021, stating that respondent is currently unable to continue the practice of law because of his medical incapacity due to mental and physical infirmity or disability within the meaning of MCR 9.121 (B)(1), and as alleged in the complaint filed in this matter. The parties’ stipulation further contained respondent’s consent, through his court appointed guardian and appointed counsel, to the entry of an order transferring him to inactive status for an indefinite period and until further order of the Board.

On March 12, 2021, Berrien County Hearing Panel #1 issued an order approving the parties' stipulation and transferring respondent’s license to inactive status pursuant to MCR 9.121(B) for an indefinite period, effective the date of the order, and until further order of the Board, in accordance with MCR 9.121(E).
