NOTICE OF DISBARMENT (By Consent)

Gregory Bartko, P 30052, Atlanta, Georgia, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #15.

1. Disbarment 2. Effective November 18,20101 Respondent was convicted in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, Western Division, of one count of conspiracy, four counts of mail fraud, and one count of sale of unregistered securities, all felonies. In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended effective November 18, 2010, the date of his felony convictions. .

The Grievance Administrator filed a notice of judgment of conviction on May 26, 2011, and, based on the stipulation of the parties, this diSCipline proceeding was held in abeyance pending the outcome of respondent's motion for a new trial in the underlying criminal matter. After respondent's motion for a new trial was denied, a hearing was held before the panel on August 1, 2012. Based on respondent's felony convictions, respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9..104(A)(5).

The Grievance Administrator's request for the entry of an order of disbarment was agreed to by respondent and accepted by the panel. Respondent's disbarment is deemed effective November 18, 2010. Costs were assessed in the amount of $957.80.
