NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent)

Case Nos. 21-6-AI; 21-50-JC Notice Issued: January 7, 2022 Amy Lynn Panek, P 80870, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-Valley Hearing Panel #3

Suspension - Three Years, Effective February 26, 2021 1 Respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a Stipulation for Consent Order of a Three Year Suspension With Conditions, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. The stipulation contained respondent’s admission that she was convicted of delivering a controlled substance -methamphetamine, a felony, in violation of MCL 333.7401(2)(b)(i), in People of the State of Michigan v Amy Lynn Panek, 49 th Circuit Court Case No. 20-009909-FH.

Based on respondent’s admissions and the stipulation of the parties, the panel found that respondent engaged in conduct that violated a criminal law of a state or of the United States, an ordinance, or tribal law pursuant to MCR 2.615, in violation of MCR 9.104(5).

In accordance with the parties’ stipulation, the panel ordered that respondent’s license to practice law be suspended for a period of three years and that she be subject to conditions relevant to the established misconduct. Total costs were assessed in the amount of $864.11.
