FINAL NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITIONS Case Nos. 09-64-JC; 09-65-GA Notice Issued: October 20,2010 Terence W. Douglass, P 49136, Ironwood, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Upper Peninsula County Hearing Panel #2.

1. Suspension - 60 Days 2. Effective September 4, 2010 The hearing panel found that respondent was convicted of the following: 1. Failure to maintain security (No-Fault Insurance), in violation of Mel 500.3102; 2. Possession of marijuana, in violation of MCl 333.74032 D; 3. Unlawful use of a license plate, in violation of MCl 257.256 4. Driving while license suspended or revoked, in violation of MCl 257.9041 D; 5. Breaking and entering, illegal entry without permission, in violation of MCl 750.115-A; and 6. Driving under the influence.

The panel further found that respondent failed to personally provide written notice to the Grievance Administrator or the Attorney Discipline Board of his convictions within 14 days after their entry as required by MCR 9.120 (a) and (b) or any time thereafter.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(1 )-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.1 (a)(2) and 8.4(a).

The panel ordered the respondent's license to practice law be suspended for 60 days with conditions relevant to the established misconduct. The Grievance Administrator filed a petition for review, seeking an increase in discipline, which was voluntarily dismissed on October 14, 2010. Total costs were assessed in the amount of $2,083.55.
