1. Reprimand 2. Effective July 8, 2010 The respondent appeared at the hearing and filed an answer to the formal complaint. The hearing panel found that respondent failed to make reasonable efforts to ensure that his direct subordinate conformed to the Rules of Professional Conduct, in violation of MR 9.1 04(A)( 1), (2), and (4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 5.1(b); and 8.4(a) and (c).
The panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and pay costs in the amount of $7,623.40.
