NOTICE OF SUSPENSION Case No. 10-6-GA Notice Issued: April 30, 2010 Terry A. Price, P 43003, Detroit, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-county County Hearing Panel #16.
1. Suspension - 30 Days 2. Effective August 1, 2010 Respondent was found to be in default for failing to file an answer to the formal complaint. The parties stipulated to setting aside the respondent's default in exchange for respondent's plea of nolo contendere to the allegations in the formal complaint. Based respondent's plea, the hearing panel found that respondent, while in court regarding a personal traffic ticket, intentionally shouldered a police officer, resisted arrest, and entered a plea to one count of disorderly person, in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 9.4(a) and (c).
The hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 30 days, effective August 1, 2010. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,780.20.
