NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

Case No. 10-27- GA Notice Issued: August 24,2010 John J. Bologna, P 42286, Troy, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #82.

1. Reprimand 2. Effective August 18, 2010 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. The stipulation contains respondent's plea of no contest to the allegations that he neglected his client's legal matter; failed to adequately communicate with his client; failed to act with reasonable diligence in his representation of his client; and provided financial assistance to his client in connection with pending litigation.

Respondent's conduct was alleged to be in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.3; 1.4(b); and 1.8(e).

Based upon the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1 ,477.74.
