NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)
Case No. 10-35-GA Notice Issued: August 24, 2010 .R obert E. Reed, P 30591, Detroit, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #21.
1. Reprimand 2. Effective August 13, 2010 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. The stipulation contains respondent's plea of no contest to the allegation that he failed to make reasonable efforts to ensure that the conduct of a non-lawyer over whom he has supervisory authority was compatible with the professional obligations of the lawyer.
Respondent's conduct was alleged to be in violation of Michigan Court Rule 9.1 04(A)(4) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 5.3(b) and 8.4(a).
Based upon the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $807.88.
