The hearing panel found that respondent was convicted, in the Oakland County Circuit Court, of two counts of Using a Computer to Commit a Crime, both felonies, in violation of MCl 752.796. Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(5).

The panel ordered the respondent's license to practice law be suspended for 179 days, retroactive to July 12,2010. On May 26, 2011, the Grievance Administrator filed a petition for review, seeking an increase in discipline, and the matter will be scheduled for a review hearing before the Attorney Discipline Board.

In accordance with MCR 9.123(A), the suspension was terminated with the respondent's filing of an affidavit of compliance on June 3, 2011.
