1. Interim Suspension 2. Effective May 21,2010 Prior to the scheduled hearing in this matter on May 20, 2010, respondent advised the hearing panel, through the staff of the Attorney Discipline Board, that she would be unable to appear for the scheduled hearing for the reason that she was scheduled for admission into the hospital.
In accordance with MCR 9.115(H), the hearing panel determined that respondent's claim of physical incapacity as the reason for her inability to appear warranted an interim suspension from the practice of law until further order of the panel. The panel issued an order of interim suspension of respondent's license, effective May 21, 2010.
A further hearing before the panel will be scheduled.
