1. Reprimand 2. Effective March 12,2010 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pleaded no contest to failing to act with reasonable diligence and promptness in representing a client; failing to make reasonable efforts to expedite litigation consistent with the interests of the client; and failing, in pre-trial procedure, to make reasonably diligent efforts to comply with a legally proper discovery request by an opposing party, in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.3; 3.2; and 3.4(d).
Based upon the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and assessed costs in the amount of $762.98.
