Effective February 26, 2010 The panel found that respondent engaged in the practice of law while suspended; held .. herself out as an attorney by any means; failed to sever her employment with, and financial interests in, professional limited liability companies; shared in legal fees for legal services performed by another during her suspension; made knowing misrepresentations and misrepresentations by omission to the Grievance Administrator and reinstatement panel; failed to fully and fairly testify under oath at her reinstatement hearing; and failed to submit all required information in the reinstatement process.
Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCl 450.4903; MCl 450.4905; MCR 9.1 04(A) (3), (4) and (6); MCR 9.119(E)(1); MCR 9.119(F); MCR 9.124(8)(1) and (4); MCR 9.124(0); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.1 (a)(1) and (2); and 8.4(a) and (b)
The hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be revoked and costs were assessed in the amount of $4,949.79.
