NOTICE OF SUSPENSION AND RESTITUTION (By Consent)

Case No. 09-116-GA Notice Issued: September 7,2010 Robert l. Wiggins, Jr., P 32359, Southfield, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #62. .

1. Suspension - 60 Days 2. Effective January 1, 20101 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator submitted a stipulation for consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The stipulation was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and was accepted by a hearing panel. The stipulation contains respondent's plea of no contest to the allegations that he neglected a legal matter entrusted to him; failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness in representing a client; and failed to refund an unearned retainer upon termination of the representation.

Respondent's conduct was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(2)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.3; 1.16(d); and 8.4(a).

Pursuant to the agreement of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 60 days, retroactive to January 1,2010, and that he pay restitution in the amount of $1,000.00. Total costs were assessed in the amount of $767.76.
