Robert G. Davis, P 47380, Oak Park, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #70_ 1. Suspension - 180 Days 2. Effective December 29, 2009' Respondent failed to appear at the hearing and was found to be in default for failing to file an answer to the formal complaint. Based on that default, the hearing panel found that respondent was convicted, by guilty plea, of the operating a motor vehicle while impaired, a misdemeanor, in violation of MCl 257.6253(A)_ The panel also found that respondent failed to provide written notice of his conviction to the Attorney Discipline Board and the Attorney Grievance Commission; and

failed to file answers to the request for investigation and the formal complaint.

Respondent's conduct is in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(1), (2), (4), and (7); MCR 9.113(A) and (B)(2); MCR 9.120(A); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.1 (a)(2); and 8.4(a) and (c)_

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 180 days and assessed costs in the amount of $1,710_65_
