1. Revocation Pursuant to MCR 9.115(M) 2. Effective September 16, 2009 1 Respondent pled no contest in the Macomb County Circuit Court to one count Embezzlement - Agent or Trustee, $1,000.00 or more but less than $20,000.00, a felony, in violation of MCl 750.174(4)(a). In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan is suspended effective September 16, 2009, the date of his felony conviction.
A discipline proceeding was instituted by the Grievance Administrator in accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(3). On February 8, 2010, in accordance with MCR 9.115(M), the Grievance Administrator filed respondent's petition for an order allowing his resignation while a discipline charge or investigation is pending. Respondent's request was granted by the Board and an order revoking his license to practice law in Michigan was entered, effective September 16, 2009. Costs were not assessed in this matter.
