Effective September 16, 2009 Respondent pled no contest in the Macomb County Circuit Court to one count Embezzlement - Agent or Trustee, $1,000.00 or more but less than $20,000.00, a felony, in violation of MCl 750.174(4)(a). In accordance with MeR 9.120(8)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan is suspended effective September 16, 2009, the date of his felony conviction.
Upon the filing of a judgment of conviction, this matter will be assigned to a hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.
