NOTICE OF SUSPENSION AND RESTITUTION WITH CONDITION Case No. 09-22-GA Notice Issued: November 23,2009

1 . Suspension - 30 Days 2. Effective November 21,2009 The hearing panel found that respondent neglected a legal matter; failed to seek the lawful objectives of a client; failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness; failed to keep a client reasonably informed of the status of a matter; failed to explain a matter to a client to the extent necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation; failed to expedite litigation; and knowingly failed to respond to a lawful demand for information from a disciplinary authority.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(a) and (b); 3.2; 8.1(a)(2); and 8.4(a).

The hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 30 days and that he pay restitution in the amount of $860.00. The panel also ordered respondent to be subject to a condition relevant to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $2,230.22.
