NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)
Case No. 09-32-GA Notice Issued: November 18,2009 Margaret J. McCabe, P 60160, Grand Ledge, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Ingham County Hearing Panel #2.
1. Reprimand 2. Effective November 18, 2009 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MeR 9.115(F)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegations that she failed to disclose a material fact tot he tribunal when disclosure is necessary to avoid assisting a fraudulent act by the client; and violating or attempting to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct and knowingly assisting anotherto do so, in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(4) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.4(a).
Based upon the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and assessed costs in the amount of $768.72.
