NOTICE OF REPRIMAND AND RESTITUTION (By Consent)

Case No. 09-44-GA Notice Issued: November 18,2009 Allison Folmar, P 60236, Detroit, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #7.

1. Reprimand 2. Effective November 18, 2009 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegations that she neglected a legal matter; failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness; failed to keep a client reasonably informed; and failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit a client to make informed decisions, in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.3; and 1.4(a) and (b).

Based upon the stipulation of th"e parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and pay restitution in the amount of $5,000.00. Costs were assessed in the amount of $776.70.
