NOTICE OF SUSPENSION Case No. 09-8-GA Notice Issued: September 25, 2009 Debra Kopczynski, P 36366, Roseville, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #108.
1. Suspension - 200 Days 2. Effective June 22,2009 Respondent did not appear at the hearing and was found to be in default for failing to file an answer to the formal complaint. Based on that default, the hearing panel found that respondent, while her license was suspended for failure to pay bar dues, continued to practice law, in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(1 )-(3); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 3.3(a)(1); 3.4(c); 5.5(c); and 8.4(a)-(c).
The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law be suspended for 200 days, retroactive to June 22,2009. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,828.20.
