NOTICE OF SUSPENSION Case No. 05-114-GA Notice Issued: March 12, 2009 David H. Trombley, P 29161, Farmington Hills, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #7.

1.

Suspension - 30 Days

2. Effective May 25, 2009 1 The hearing panel found that respondent committed professional misconduct when he failed to take reasonable steps to defend his client or to further his client's legitimate interests through reasonable means available; failed to have reasonable communication with his client; engaged in a conflict of interest when the representation of his client was directly adverse to his other clients in a civil suit and his client in a divorce action; and engaged in a conflict of interest by representing his client when the representation may have been materially limited by respondent's own interest.

Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.1 04(A)(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.2(a); 1.4(a) and (b); and 1.7(a} and (b).

The hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 30 days, to run consecutive to the three year suspension, effective May 24,2006, ordered in Grievance Administrator v David H. Trombley, Case No. 00-163-GA. Costs were assessed in the amount of $2,900.99.

Dated: MAR 12 2009
